The Texel brewery in Oudeschild is known for its award-winning Texel beers. The Texel brewery can be visited on the island and you can also go for a tour of the brewery. Perhaps interesting to know is that since 2020 the brewery has been taken over by Heineken.

The most famous Texel beer is the Texel Skuumkoppe. Skuumkoppe is a delicious top-fermented dark wheat beer.
