11 x Texels Seumefeugel Beer
Seumerfeugel Beer from Texel
Texel Seumerfeugel is a thirst-quenching wheat beer thanks to the combination of fresh citrus and samphire with a surprising, slightly salty aftertaste.
Seumerfeugel is Texels word for bathing guest. Texel Seumerfeugel has a light color and is cloudy. It is a dry wheat beer with a fresh, slightly sour taste, obtained by using sauer malt. The hops (Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Saphir), also hopped dry, provide the light bitter and fresh citrus touch. The samphire gives a slightly salty finish, which brings out the right characteristics of the beer. Just like other Texel beers, Texel Seumerfeugel is also post-fermented in bottle and cask. Texel Seumerfeugel has a low alcohol content of 3.9%, ideal on hot days.

Texel Beer
Can you taste salty Wadden air in a glass of beer? Texels beer is closely linked to the unspoilt nature of the island. Due to the unique climate: more hours of sunshine and less rain allow barley and wheat to grow with pronounced thick grains. When the beer matures in perfect rest, the Texel sheep provide life in the brewery when they are treated with bostel: the residual product of the malt that remains after brewing.
